Trinks Inc. vacuum presses are built to surround the mold area in a vacuum to remove unwanted gases and trapped air that could result in voids in the molded part. The vacuum provides the user the ability to produce higher quality parts with a reduction in scrap rates. Trinks Inc. vacuum presses feature heavy duty gib guided slab side construction. Hydraulically or pneumatically operated front and rear doors seal to create a vacuum during the molding process. The vacuum presses can be built to any size and tonnage requirement and with multiple daylights. Vacuum presses can be used for compression molding and laminating. In the case of transfer molding a vacuum ring is inserted in the mold around the cavities and a vacuum is pulled in the cavity area only. Trinks Inc. also incorporates vacuum in our Lithium extrusion presses.
